Hi! My name is Alex. My work explores the intimate relationships between people and place, especially green spaces within cities. I have always shared a love for both the written word and visual media, and try to combine these two elements in new ways.

In 2021, I graduated from Cambridge University with an MPhil in Modern and Contemporary Literature. A year before that, I graduated from Durham University with a first-class degree in English Literature. My university essays explored a range of topics, but looking back now I can see that they coalesced around themes of mysticism, ineffability and nature writing – essentially, how we try to put our lived experience into words.

Outside of these heavy philosophical topics, I take photos and make films. I am a creative, hard-working, and disciplined member of any team, with a breadth of experience in the creative industry. I am proficient in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustrator.
